Business Development

As support to our advocacy initiatives, we provide employment and create job opportunities within the cooperative. In business development, we work with cooperative promoters, members, leaders and managers to arrive at a clear picture of the cooperative's business and group development need. We form a consortium of farm cooperatives who reap many benefits of doing business as a unit, linking the local famers in the supply chain. RFPC works to stabilize fair pricing for farmers and worker wages, foster sustainable farming, make healthy food more broadly available and affordable, operate a cooperative with a small margin, and cover all of the business’s costs.RFPC provide an opportunity for producers to market access, reduce risk, generate more sales and gain effective coordination that improves marketing system performance by unifying and exerting power to raise total returns to agricultural producers

Product Distribution

Outsource and distribute quality products, emphasis on ethically produced local organic goods. The role of the distribution is to connect production and consumption in a way acceptable to both producers and consumers. We act on diverse functions of distribution such as coolecting products from producers and deliver to buyers after classifying and packing. We help determine the price to maintain well-balanced relationship between supply and demand and that the price formation operate under certain rule.

Value Chain Integration

We work closely with producers, processors and consumers from farm to market . The main areas that we prioritize include legal and regulatory framework, cooperative structure and financing, cooperative governance, cooperative production and value addition, ICTcooperative education and research and other emerging issues in the sector." Farmers and producers will have a say or control of the various chain actors who actually transact a particular product as it moves through their value chain. This includes factors and actors such as farm inputs like seed and fertilizer suppliers, farmers, traders, processors, transporters, wholesalers, retailers, and final consumers.
